A 90 min virtual YIN Yoga class consisting of pranayama (breathwork), guided meditation, and physical asana shapes held for 1-5 min at a time. YIN shapes are held for longer periods of time to target the fascia/connective tissue. The goal is to use props to find a comfortable position in your YIN shape where you muscles can be passive/relaxed yet a feeling of stretch/tension is felt in the target area.
Props: YIN is ALL ABOUT PROPS. Please bring as much as you can of the following:
Yoga Mat
Yoga blocks or books (suggestion to bring 2)
Bolsters or pillows (suggestion to bring 2 bolsters or 3-4 pillows)
Thin blankets that can be rolled (suggestion to bring 2)
Yoga Strap
